Ceiling Swirl Diffusers
The ceiling swirl diffuser is made from galvanised
sheet steel with manual adjustment of the air deflector blades which
enables the discharge direction to be altered on site if necessary
to give either horizontal or vertical throw.
The deflector blades can be preset at the factory to the desired
direction to minimise adjustment.
The diffuser is designed to produce a rotary swirling air discharge
which causes rapid induction of room air and decay of the supply
air velocity.
The diffuser has a square surface plate which is powder coated to
a standard RAL or BS colour - RAL 9010 as standard.
The deflector blades are black as standard but can be finished white
to match the diffuser if required.
A side or top entry plenum box can be supplied and this incorporates
the fixing arrangement necessary if single screw fixing is required.
Alternatively the diffuser can be supported on standard ceiling T-Bars
and used as a tile replacer.
The plenum box is fitted with a perforated spreader plate/flap damper
in the inlet spigot.
The diffuser can be used for supply or extract applications and
is suitable for constant and variable air flows in room with heights
of between 2.7 and 4.0 meters
