DVS is reliable and maintenance free. The motor is suspended on effective vibration dampers which give a low sound level. Vertical outlet prevent problems with wet snow and contamination of the roof.

The fans can be speed controlled by lowering the voltage with stepless thyristor or 5-step transformer, with exception for sizes 800-900.

The base is made of galvanized steel sheet, powder coated, the casing of aluminium.
